What should I be thinking when saying Alhamdulillah?
We all know that its recommended to say specific words before we go to sleep or complete our prayers, which include saying Alhamdulillah. This is often translated as All praise be to to Allah (God). Most of us are used to reading this but without reflecting on its meaning.
How can I transform my life? Show gratitude.
Simple. Every time you say Alhamdulillah, think of one thing you owe thanks to Allah for. For example, your children, parents, friends, health, work, ability to pray, your eyesight … even your breathing.
“And if you were to count all the favours of Allah, you will never be able to.”
[Surat An-Nahl, verse 18]
